Meet Paige Holden
Director of Communications

What is your background in moving?

I’ve moved around my whole life and think it’s fun. While I am relatively new to working for a moving company, I’ve been around the industry since I was a kid. You could say moving runs in the family.


What is your area of expertise?

As the Director of Communications for Holman, I manage all of our marketing initiatives, including our social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. Essentially, my job every day is to share helpful information with our customers and anyone else who is planning to move. I draw on my personal experience from moving often and I rely on the awesome team we have here at Holman to answer any questions that come up.

I also initiated the Move for Hunger here, which is a program that encourages customers to donate unused pantry items to the local food bank. So far, Holman Moving has delivered more than 500 pounds of food to the Center for Food Action in New Jersey and the Food Bank of Delaware.


What do you like most about working in the moving industry?

I love that I have a job where I can use my personal experience to help people. I don’t think moving has to be so stressful. I really can be an awesome experience for people if they have a good team behind them and quality information to help them through the process.


If you could give one tip to a customer, what would it be?

My colleagues on this blog have already given some technical answers that are very important so I’m going to take a different direction. My advice is to stay positive about your move and focus on the big picture. It’s easy to get bogged down in the details, but moving will open up a world of new opportunities and that’s exciting!



I’ve always thought Tuscany would be a nice place to settle. I’ve never actually been but it seems like such a peaceful place to live. I love the countryside, good food and wine, so I know I’d fit right in.
