What is your background in moving?

I have more than 25 years of experience working in the moving industry, including managerial roles in claims, customer service and operations.

Currently I manage Holman’s team of moving coordinators, assist with customer issue resolution and monitor the quality ratings of Holman’s customer performance assessments.  I also oversee the claims department.


What is your area of expertise?

My expertise really lies in my first-hand knowledge of operations, customer service and claims. Understanding the big picture has allowed me to successfully bridge move coordination and operations, which has led to increased customer satisfaction.


What do you like most about working in the moving industry?

Every day is different, because every customer is different. There’s never a dull moment here and I find that fun, challenging and rewarding.


If you could give one tip to a customer, what would it be?

I’d say it’s important to be as flexible as possible when it comes to your move. This will greatly reduce your stress throughout the moving process.


If you could move anywhere in the world, where would it be?

St. Maarten, overlooking the Caribbean sea! Who wouldn’t want to live in paradise?
