Meet Greg Lefkowitz
Director of Business Development
I’ve been on the business development team for Holman Moving Systems for six years. Being from New Jersey, I understand the market and, more importantly, customer needs. Bob Holman taught me everything I know about moving today and I look forward to continuing my education with the company for years to come.
What is your area of expertise?
As the Director of Business Development for the New Jersey office, I facilitate the sales program for individuals moving in and out of New York and New Jersey. When you call for a moving estimate, I am the person who will come to your home to see what has to be moved, give you an estimate and answer any questions you may have about moving.
I’m also very much committed to Move for Hunger, a program that encourages customers to donate unused pantry items to the local food bank. So far, Holman Moving has delivered more than 500 pounds of food to the Center for Food Action in New Jersey and the Food Bank of Delaware. I take great pride in supporting such a worthwhile cause.
What do you like most about working in the moving industry?
I love that every day for me is different. I can be in Essex Country one day, and then New York City the next. Every move I estimate has a different challenge, and every customer I meet has different needs, so the job definitely keeps me on my toes.
If you could give one tip to a customer, what would it be?
Ask as many questions as you want, even if you think they are silly. The key to a successful move is good communication, so don’t be shy about speaking up about things that you don’t understand, or any special needs that you have.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would it be?
It would be very hard for me to leave New Jersey because my family and friends are here, but if I had to move then San Diego would be one of my first choices. Although I’ve never been there, I’ve heard it’s a great place to live.
