The holidays are literally right around the corner so I thought today would be a great day for some quick holiday moving tips and reminders. While this time of year is a time for reflection, family bonding and great food, it is also stressful! We know moving at this time of year only adds to your already floor length to-do list and, not surprisingly, your anxiety level. Finding a job can be tough, especially these days. A few of my friends still haven’t been able to find a job after graduation almost two years ago. A few more have started opening their search criteria, willing to make a move for an open position. Some have found opportunities in another state, and some in another country. Those with such offers are now faced with deciding whether or not the move will be worth it. Do you take a job in a city far from home just for the sake of having a job? Aside from the holidays, winter is my least favorite season. I am not a fan of the cold at all and I always get sick as soon as the weather changes. When I’m feeling under the weather, however, I’m surprisingly okay at managing it because I detect it early on and load up on Vitamin C and sleep. I don’t even mind working while sick because, hey, at least I’m sitting down. But,I will openly admit that I can’t think of many tasks that would be worse to complete while sick than moving to a new home.
