Update: Holman Moving Systems Helps the YWCA of Bergen County Create Comfy Homes

We have a very cool update for our friends today.

A few month ago, we posted about how Holman Moving in New Jersey was taking part in a community outreach program run by the YWCA of Bergen County and supported by the United Way. It was our honor to accept a shipment of 15 couches and 14 media cabinets from Crate and Barrel that we have been storing in our secured storage facilities to ultimately deliver to people in need.

Yesterday, Holman Moving delivered  couches and media cabinets to five homes in New Jersey, as well as the YWCA in Hackensack.  We will continue to deliver the rest of the couches after Thanksgiving so that we can make the holidays a little bit cozier for those in need. Please stay tuned for more updates!

Move Out Hunger this Holiday Season!

It’s that time of year again! By now you probably know we are committed to Move for Hunger, a non-profit organization that works with moving companies across the country to pick up unwanted, unopened food from those who are relocating and deliver it to local food banks across the country. We were honored to be the first mover in Delaware, and among the first movers in New Jersey, to join the program. To date, we have dropped more than 600 pounds of food to our food banks – the Food Bank of Delaware in New Castle, DE and the Center for Food Action in Englewood, New Jersey.
